Right now, today, you can turn it all around. You can decide that you finally have had it with what you have been through and make some changes. That's truly how all great journeys begin. You really do have to reach a point where you know that enough is really enough and there are some important changes to be made.
Heroes, I'm beginning to become convinced (at least in the real world), are made...not born. Heroes are the men and women who have built a grand vision, integrity and the desire to work to perform jobs daily that will take them to the heights of personal greatness. The heroes are people who regularly see something that hasn't been created yet or no other person can see. They carry out their task with watchfulness, care, and are always the person they know they can be even when there isn't an audience of any sort.
You can become the protagonist, the hero, of your own story today. You can really be the person who decided that fear was no longer going to control them and that they would stop at nada to bring their gifts to the world they live in. You can do that. That really is actually a possibility. There is no reason in the world why you cannot. The single thing stopping you from doing this are the excuses you create in this moment. Giant impacts can be made by those that believe excuses really are trivial.
But how?
You must learn to accept the whispers that make it obvious that things are possible. Because they are. Yes, many have to conquer significant odds to be in a position to see that day...but it's possible. Highly improbable to the onlooker...yes. Impossible. No.
Make the firm decision today to turn it all around. You can absolutely be your own hero. Now start acting like one.
