Some people prefer to face problems on their own. Other people feel that it is a phase that they are going through. The therapist will be their as a basic guide. Their support and encouragement is valuable. However, at the end of the day it is the patient that needs to keep on persevering. They will soon realize that they need to make the effort. However, the therapist will also be encouraging and this is obviously helpful.
